Coromandel Lifestyle Village Newsletter June 2024

We ended our great summer on a high note with good music and fabulous food at A Taste of Matarangi on 6 April 2024, with fishing competitions like ‘Take a Kid Fishing’, making it a day of fun for the whole family. There was a great turnout for Anzac Day as well a buzz of excitement over the Easter weekend at the Coromandel Community Market, not to mention all the convertible MG’s that coloured up our town.

Since the opening of the SH25A highway we have seen stronger visitor numbers coming to our wonderful Coromandel town, boosting local business and attractions like the School of Mines Museum.

Let’s not forget the unexpected spectacular sight in May with the aurora that brightened up our night skies. Here are some of our own photos with the Communal house in the back.

With the approach of midwinter, we can enjoy those hearty soups, staying warm under a blanket whilst watching movies but with the two holidays in Jun we can also look forward to some exciting events:

• Matariki Twilight Market on Saturday 29 June from 2-6pm

• Reopening of the Coromandel Stamper Battery – goldmining history (opening plans is currently being worked on)

Here at Coromandel Lifestyle village the recent storm in May, once again didn’t affect any of our buildings and the gardens only needed some minor cleanup and was back to looking great in no time.

Please note we are still running our free Village fee promotion for the first year on the first 3 units being sold. This equates to a saving of $8,400.00. (1 is already sold and we are already having another potential Resident for August this year).

Please feel free to call in and have a look if you are in the area. Chantel and Brendon will always greet you with a smile and answer any questions you may have.

Kind Regards from the team at Coromandel Lifestyle Village.
